Weavers Way Co-op Launches Online Cooperator Scheduling
Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

Weavers Way Co-op and Juncto Interactive are proud to announce the launch of their new Online Cooperator Scheduling initiative.

Beginning today, a tiered roll-out of the new online scheduling system will begin, with some users transitioning to the new system while others continue to utilize the previous paper calendar. By March, 2009, the entire membership will have transitioned to the new web-based scheduler.

About Weavers Way

Weavers Way Co-op is one of the few remaining Cooperative food markets in which the members not only own, but also operate, the store. Each cooperator works in the store for a certain number of hours each year, performing every task from slicing cheese in the deli to operating the cash registers. Until now, cooperators signed up for shifts using a pen-and-paper calendar; starting today, cooperators will log in to a web-based scheduling application developed by Juncto Interactive.

Not only does the new system make it easier for members of the co-op to find the shifts they're looking for, it drastically eases the burdens of the few full-time staff members, allowing them to run detailed reports in seconds that used to take hours.

Weavers Way Co-op is located at 559 Carpenter Lane in the beautiful Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia, PA.
